On 18 November, a round table “Furnished Apartments: a Necessary Element in the Real Estate Market” will be held in Moscow. The event will be held in the Glass Dome Hall of the Central Exhibition Complex “Expocentre”, in the framework of the Mebel 2019 – the 31st International Exhibition for Furniture, Fittings and Upholstery.
The Mebel exhibition is one of the leading industry events in Russia for many years: more than 650 Russian manufacturers, more than 50 thousand visitors annually from all regions of the Russian Federation and 70 countries of the world.
The business program of the exhibition will be opened by the Round table “Furnished Apartments: a Necessary Element in the Real Estate Market”, the most discussed topic of the Russian real estate market for manufacturers of furniture and woodworking industry. Apartments with finishing and furniture are gaining more and more popularity in the market of new buildings, which is beneficial for both commercial and social housing. At the round table will be expressed the views of the representatives of the state industrial sector, the furniture companies, the developers and construction companies. The event will be attended by the members of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, heads of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation and representatives of the voluntary associations and business. During the round table, reports will be made on the subjects of “Furniture market review” and “Housing market review”, “Forecasts and prospects” and others.
The participants of the event will be able to see furnished apartments where production facilities demonstrate samples of their products in Hall 4, Pavilion 2 in the Expocentre Fairgrounds. Among the exhibitors: First Furniture Factory, Grafskaya Kukhnya, Smolenskmebel, Stolplit, Chisty List, Concept Materials, Qmebel, Elegia and others. The implementation of this project is aimed at increasing demand for Russian furniture products, job creation, as well as extra tax revenues to the budget.
The project Furnished Apartments is organized by the Expocentre Fairgrounds in cooperation with the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Enterprises of Russia (AMDPR).
