On 18 November, a round table “Furnished Apartments: a Necessary Element in the Real Estate Market” was held as part of the Mebel 2019 exhibition in Expocentre Fairgrounds.

A trend of finished and furnished apartments is gaining momentum recently in the real estate market. This could be especially relevant for new buildings. Such an offer from developers is primarily interesting for consumers, because the furniture of the apartment is included into the mortgage. As part of the Mebel 2019 exhibition a special project “Furnished Apartments” was implemented, giving the opportunity to get acquainted with the samples of furnished apartments, where furniture companies demonstrated samples of their products.
Within this project, the apartments with finishing and furniture will be cheaper for the consumer, housing will be suitable for settlement from the moment of commissioning, the responsibility of the developer for the quality of housing will increase, as well as the number of jobs and tax deductions to the budget will increase.
“Construction companies are interested in cooperation with domestic furniture manufacturers, and a complete set of furnished apartments is able to guarantee the workload of manufacturing. The use of innovations and advanced technologies, the constant expansion of the range, the high level of design allow domestic manufacturers to create furniture that is in demand on the modern market, which is a significant factor in the development of the timber industry in general,” noted Viktor Evtukhov, State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
